Hey, I have notice that my testicles are not level and never have been, the left side hangs dowm more than the right side at all times. Is this normal and will I be able to have kids?
They are not soppose to be even, grand design. if they were both even you would not be able to cross your leg without discomfort.. Your normal. when you cross you legs a one ball scoots under the other. Many active mammals have testes that are outside the body. This is the best answer I can give you without looking stuff up..
There is un-likly to be a man in the world with an even pair of testicles. They will hang lower, and if you feel them they should be different sizes. I would recommend getting to know your testicles and penis quite well. That way if any mysterious lumps or bumps appear you will know.
It's important that they are not level. If they were level, they would not cool off that easily. Balls have to be cooler than the rest of your body. This is to make sperm production optimal. So not only should your balls not be level, you should also limit wearing underwear. Don't sleep with underwear, sleep naked. That's best for your balls. If possible don't wear tight pants either.
yes, I see that being true. thats a very good post SCHLONG... aaa haa haa Optimal cooling... huh..hu...cool..
That's also a possible reason. But I doubt it is the only one. If you look at non-human mammals, who walk on all fours and never cross their legs, you'll see that their balls too aren't level. Have a look at a bull. His huge balls just dangle, never level. And have you ever seen a bull cross his legs to smoke a cigar? I haven't. Girl checking both Johnschlong and Orison's theory.
Apparently elephants, dolphins (probably whales & porpoises as well) & prairie dogs all have their testicles inside their bodies.
So everyone here answered your original question quite thoroughly and correctly. Your balls are textbook with the left one hanging slightly lower. Occasionally a guy might have the right one lower but with most it is the left. One poster even mentioned checking out your balls to see if they had any lumps. You are still in the most at risk age 15-35 for testicular cancer. All men in that age group should be doing a monthly testicular self examination. Roll each ball between thumb and forefinger, checking that the surface is smooth and without any lumps or rough spots. (know that there are a bunch of tubing connected to the back of the ball.) If any lumps are detected go see a doctor. Testicular cancer caught and treated early has a high cure rate. If not treated early it will metastasize and kill you.
yeah guys you should know the texture of your nuts by feeling them through the skin, as "Shale" states it good to know your body and any changes that may be significant and require a doctors examination.
Checking your balls isn't a futile effort. But let's not overdo things. Your chance of getting testicular cancer is (in the US) 0.4% (in Europe less than 0.3%), and it's a cancer with the highest cure rate. Your chance of getting killed in a car accident is much higher. Anyways, I used to check my balls in my mid-twenties, but I'm no longer worried. I'm old enough to be out of the risk group. I've always found that checking the balls is an unpleasant waste of time.
Nothing unpleasant about it - especially when soaped up in the bath. It can be a pleasant & at the same time a worthwhile activity.
Once a month while in the shower is what is recommended, so that should not be overdoing it. Yes, it is not the most common cancer, but that is small comfort to the .4% who get it. And the high cure rate is dependent on early detection - hence that monthly TSA. Once it metastasizes to the lymph nodes and lungs it's all over.
