Broken Bong... get a Roor or not?

So last night i let my older brother and his friends use my bong after they got home late and my brother ended up dropping it on my kitchen floor and shattering it. He's going to pay for a new one, the one i had was about 90$ and i was thinking about throwing in some more money and just get a nice RooR, but i'm not sure yet. So what do ya'll think? get another hand blown one or upgrade to a RooR?

 

roors are expensive and unattractive.

i'd still pitch in some money and get a nicer bong, but thats just me. but i prefer a cool looking decorative and still very functional bong to an expensive clear glass bong with a stupid logo on it.

one of my favorite things about pipes is the lack of logos all over everything. companies like roor and graffix are exceptions....but whatever, my last bong was a graffix (i just took off the decal)

its made for someone lying down on the couch or in bed or something. one of the coolest and most unique bongs i've seen, the ultimate in stoner sloth - now you dont even need to sit up to take a bong rip!

and it could still be used like a normal bong.....

anyway, maybe its just me that thinks this bong is so cool. that website has other cool bongs though, many for less money. it may be worth getting one which is cool but costs less than your original one, and then spend the earnings on herb...

yeah roors are really nice. sometimes you can find them up on craigslist for cheap.

I recently got an 18" American beaker-base RooR down in Gilroy for $165.

i think its in a thread in show your piece forum.

also, there is a 14" american tube on craigslist at the moment, i think the guy is asking $200, but you could talk him down to maybe $160.

that is, if you live in the san francisco bay area.

but I would definately recommend a RooR.

they are so nice and responsive, and you can just feel the quality of the glass when you hit it.

 

i was also interested in buying off of chunkie glass pipes untill i came across a few websites with many people claiming that they did not get their product in the mail or the wrong product and no one would reply to their calls or emails. just FYI

 

I have ordered both a bong and pipe off chunky, both extremely nice pieces and got to my house in about two weeks after ordering.

The bong was 60 bucks and is beautiful, unless I found one for really cheap I would never lay down the money for a roor.

That's like buying a fifty dollar tank top from abercrombie when you can get the same plain tank top at k-mart for five bucks...

 

The clear sleek exterior of bongs from companies like EHLE and ROOR are what attract customers. The idea is to be simple, functional, and sleek. While I do like nice artsy bongs, a lot of ones that try to be artsy just fail horribly. Also with a clear bong you can watch as the whole thing milks and boy is that awesome. I plan on getting a clear bong pretty soon. If you have the money to buy a ROOR and don't mind spending said money, then go for it because you won't be disappointed. Also Nesta that recliner bong is still awesome
