Yes, it can, especially with higher doses, but if you do it responsibly and informed, you should be fine. Dextroverse.org is a great, informative site about dex.

yes it does. i hate to say it but any drug with long term abuse will give you brain damage. sometimes you only need to to it once to realize you already did damage. i have experminted with DXM and corciden (spelling) several times. like any drug it has effects.
it probably can but i mean ive done dxm a lot and so have other people i know and the none of them are braindamaged...the only side effect id be most worried about it liver damage, my friend did way too much dxm and now her pee cycle is all fucked up.
there is evidence it MAY lead to olney's lesions. it is not known for sure. anecdotal, nonscientific evidence exhibited in heavy, frequent and/or long term users would definitely suggest DXM abuse may very well damage the brain. but then, many people would say the same about cannabis, yet science has told us time and again cannabis does not cause any brain damage.
the other thing i can tell you for sure it does damage, is your package. the time i did 2,100mg. i couldnt get it up for a few weeks.
