Alright...so I've been doing some basic meditation for a while now, at least a year. Nothing to complex, just things like using a mantra or focusing on my breathing and stuff like that. Until now I've been content with that but I want to delve deeper into the whole spirituality thing. The problem is I don't know where to start. Can anybody give me an idea of a starting point, or at least some tips? Thanks in advance.

Start to learn about your chakras. Develop them.

I started off by being an observer of my mind and watching my thoughts and working on my chakras (Keeping a balance).
Just relax and observe your thinking taking a different perspective on things and thoughts but letting them come freely.
Worked for me when i first started out, but im no expert
    Hope that helps a little
    best of luck.

'Cannabis & Meditation' is the only book I've seen on all of this, and I've looked for a long time. It covers chakra techniques and the kind of things you're looking for, a kind of next step on from 'just' meditation.

But it depends whwat you're looking for, what your intentions are? If you want to head for enlightenment then you've got to move from doing the shamatha/focussing style of basic meditation and move into a form that uses understanding the real nature of reality as its basis, like Mahamudra or Dzogchen (Norbu is from Dzogchen, he has couple of good books out). It's a whole different game to what people usually think of as meditation. Look first at the Buddhist concept (the Hindu version is a little different) of 'Sunyata'. This is the idea that everything is a co-dependent, inter-connected reality, that we can't really say is either here or not here. Google it, it's worth exploring and gives you the first hints of the things to come.

According to your name, you already know the basis for yoga and all other spritual practices. So, start there. Love. From there, move on to breathing meditation and start with some basic hatha yoga postures. Google sun salutations and other yoga poses or go to a teacher. And from there, continue to love.

I just meditated and i feel amazing. What I do is listen to meditation podcasts on iTunes. There are at least twenty of them, you choose our favorite. My personal favorite is called meditation oasis. They also have music for listening to while meditation. Its all good stuff. You should check it out! Good luck getting in tune with your inner self. :)
