Well I tripped on 350 mg of dxm along with some codeine a couple days ago. I was dehydrated alot during my trip. For the past 2 days when I try to pee I have to wait a long time before it comes out, and the same feeling happened with masturbation. I read this can be caused by being dehydrated while on dex. Is this going to go away soon? Has this happened to anyone else?
decreased sexual functions is a side effect of DXM. I've never heard of dehydration being a side effect though.
I don't know the cause of it, but when my friends and I first started taking DXM the same thing about not being able to pee happened. It only happened while we were on it, once the trip was done we could go pee again. But, two of my friends on different occasions couldn't go pee even after they came down. They couldn't even pee the next day and had to go to the hospital and get a catheter inserted. It was weird cause it only happened like the first month or two we were doing it. Now, about 4 years later it never happens anymore.
i can pee fine, or at least i havent noticed not being able to. im sure ive peed a bunch of times on dxm. ive read about others who say this but i dont think its a very common side effect
How long has it been since you've gone and when did you last take DXM? If it's been a day or more you need to go the ER and get a catheter.
It's been 4 days. But I don't think I need a catheter, aren't those used for people who cant pee and their stomach swells up so they need a catheter to pee? I can pee, it just takes a couple mins, and masturbation blows. I'm wondering if it's gonna go away on its own, if it doesn't I'll be medically okay I think, it's just gonna suck because masturbating doesn't even feel good anymore.
yeah it used to happen to me when i would trip (usually outside at night with friends) so i figured it was a blushing kidney and was embarresed but then i realized it just happens when your on dex. a wack ass drug if theres food in my stomach for sure. last night i forgot i ate and it made me sick as hell for a while and then i had a nasty feeling in my mouth and throat all night and all this shit.
I was always afraid I was going to piss red syrup while I was pissing. God I am so glad my DXM days are over, that shit was lame.
my first trip i took 700mg it fucked me up more than any other trip. i ended up in the hospital and they were about to put a catheter in me because i couldn't pee, but i was finally able to in the nick of time. that was the only time ive been unable to pee on DXM. if anything, it will just take longer than usual to start up. on 3rd plat trips the only possible way to pee is to sit down. this is 1 reason why i don't go above 400mg.
