The Gulf on Tonkin Act allows any president to use "police powers" when he feels necessary to protect the interest and security of the US. If he says the have WMD's again basically he can do that shit all over again but I don't think Bush would do that at the end of his term. He did a lot of fucked up shit but I doubt he would go into Iran.

1 LAST time, "guy" for the last 3+ years i've answered every sensible question anyone has ever asked me, you on the other fail to answer any, if your waiting for me to answer your question, Again, don't hold your breathe "or do " either way, you have alot of questions to answer before you ask anymore.

So until you decide to act and communicate like an adult, i'll have to put you on my IGNORE list.

Google slacktivist, there should be a pic an brief description of "guy"

    ohhh....

i know you won't go to iraq or fight for your beliefs in this little war going on.

i keep asking why you won't go

and you keep telling me that i keep asking the question.

you could always keep it simple and just tell me straightaway "no i won't go to iraq and i refuse to put myself in harms way for my beliefs but i'll happily champion the war"

i'm sorry the question makes you unhappy

maybe you should just answer the question instead complaining that i ask you the question?

The US will never 'go into Iran'
The only way they would become embraced in combat is if Iran attacked America.
[no-one has 'declared' war on America since hitler in dec 22 41' and look what happened to him.]
Iran knows very well it would be flattened into a new asian carpark if it used wmd's
And conventional would gain it nothing but woe tho it might "will' it out in the end like vietnam..

The US is a young nation. Rome lasted 3 times as long as the US has existed.
It is learning the limmits and uses of power..And so it should.. it has the most powerfull millitary on earth and in all history.
The fact that nukes were never used after nagasaki says one hell of a lot for the US
but few ever think of this.
Even tho it is one of the most interesting dichotomies to power ever enacted in the history of man.
Like a child that blows up the mailbox, they scared themselves with the power.
    thank god they did
few have the will to say it.. i will.
Without hiroshima/nagasaki this world would be a husk coated in ash..
i bow to those who died there. They saved mankind.

Capitailism/Comunism discussions are for dummies. Politicians should do better job or be replaced nicely and smoothly without emotions. This is all about democracy. Now, how the heck Assyrian's follow that rule? I think not so as bad. They have warrior culture. They are really disciplined. But they believe in peace and that his president really is clear.
Can you imagine such super-duper secret that nobody spoke a word? And beside that. Do you believe that Assyrians are sneaky nation like Shis? Their society is much brighter. They are better that Turkish and Ukrainians.

You mean brighter and cleverer. ??

Well, considering they outnumbered iraq 2/1 in 1980/88
and still managed to gain little but a stalemate. I'd say they were not too
    bright.
I could have won it in 3 years given iran's human resources.
They did it all the wrong way. 8 years of waste.

well, my friend was in Iran. I think personally that their culture and art are much more interesting. Beside their economy is quite OK. Much better that Ukrainians for sure.
    Here are his photos:

Today I received the new issue of National Geographic.

Lo and behold the issue is all about Iran and contains a Huge Wall Map of Iran!

Is this so we can follow along when the time comes for the war ????

a wave of Deja Vu came upon me. National Geographic published a wall map of Iraq just prior to Poppa Bush's Desert Storm against Saddam in 1991!

    I quickly scanned the map

looking for nuclear facilities, military installations and the like.

No, the map shows physical, historical and cultural features.

    National Geographic maps rock!

I got a whole bindle full of them. Some over 30 years old.

Of course you have to sift the mud for the gold. National Geographic included.
