    Alright so I picked up some acid on blooters from a guy I no who is supposidly a big acid head. I hit 3 and it took about an hour and a half to kick in. I didnt get much of a colorful trip but it did mind fuck me and got a few visuals but no full out hallucinations. It lasted about 12-13 hours and made my stumach feel like it was bubling and made me get really hot and muscles really stiff. My heart rate was at about 100-105 a min consistantly. Also a friend of mine took 2 hits and thoguht it was a dud until I saw him about 2 hours l8ter and he was tripping REALY hard and the next day told me he heard voices from his poster and was talking wit it in his room. Also I did get a lot of trailing. Any opinions?

    Edit: Also it had a bit of a bitter taste that dissapeared after about 30 seconds of sucking/chewing on the blooter.

    hm all the trips iv had are similar as i have not yet "hallucinated", lots of trails and i couldnt definetly feel it going on in my brain and had a very interesting body high. i dont think ur supposed to really have full blown hallucinations unless u take alotttt. i did 3 my first time and all i got was mad trails and the clouds made CRAZY swirling patterns.
    also it sounds like ur friend exaggerated a bit but thats jsut my opinion.
    wat u described about ur heart rate sounds liek some DOx but im no expert

    DOx or Bromo-Dragonfly, imo. Duration of come-up, duration of trip, subtlety of visuals and drastic rise in heartrate all point more prominently to DOx. The only thing that makes this questionable is the duration of the trip itself. Usually DOx lasts a good 20 hours at doses high enough to produce "trailing" and other semi-psychedelic properties. Bodyload also indicates DOx or Bromo-Dragonfly. Chances are if it was Bromo it would've lasted well into the next day.

    If you've taken mescaline, a good point of reference is the visual experience of that drug. DOx engenders a visual experience much like that of mescaline.

    With that said, if this was your first experience with LSD, a lot of people report it not reaching their expectations the first time and often have to dose again to see the subtlety of such an experience. Higher doses can take longer to onset effects and also you could've been experiencing the onset and not known it if you were unfamiliar with LSD.

    Edit for bitter taste: one more chalk mark for DOx or Bromo. LSD tends to give an "electricity" more than a taste on the tongue. Again if you're an inexperienced LSD user this electricity on the tongue could definitely be interpreted as bitterness. If it was chemically or bitter enough to make it unenjoyable, I'd chalk another one up for DOx.

    The heart rate change wasn't that bad, I would compare it to a good amount of marijuana and the taste wasn't "unenjoyable" but deffinetly had a bitterness to it. Also my right leg was very twitchy if that means anything. And yes this was my first experience. If I was to hit another 3 hits what should I be looking for to find out if it's real lsd?

    Edit: Also one thing that really freaked me out was my stomach, I didn't feel like vomiting or nausios. My stomach was bubling then rumbling and had the feeling of explosions and a volcano bubling with random strong pains.

    Muscle spasms and twitching can occur on high dose/high potency LSD trips. As to what you should expect...I dunno, man. It's really hard to talk about such things in a universal way. 1 hit of LSD should at least be 40 micrograms. Consuming 120 micrograms or more produces, at the very least: euphoria, elation, a general glow to the world around you and insight into the "processes" you're a part of.

    In some users, even in high dose/high purity situations, LSD can produce anything from dysphoria, nausea and paranoia to full blown spiritual ecstasy.

    Sorry, but really there's no way of knowing what you have unless you let someone who knows what LSD feels like take it. First-time users have notoriously high expectations for this drug in particular and unfortunately that can produce a lot of paranoia about whether or not it's actually working or it's actually what it was stated to be.

    Edit for stomach pains: A lot of LSD users report this type of pain. "LSD cramps" are one of the reasons that there was so much hysteria in the 1960's over "strychnine-laced" acid (widely considered a complete myth).

    What would you say is the most SuRe way to tell if it is not LSD before you take it, because i have a heart condition,and really want to try the natural life changing experience of LSD but I really dont want Dox because the heart racing thing sounds like a bad idea...Or should i just go with mushrooms (which by the way, are those always natural, or can they be messed with a bunch of chemicals?)

    i get full blown visuals...but theres a difference between true hallucinations and just visual distortions....i dont think ive ever had a true hallucination, meaning a freestanding hallucination w/ no basis in reality....thats some high HIGH dose L or dissociative/deliriant shit right there...lol

    bitter=DOx
