possession of marijuana law in the state of california

so i just recently got caught up with 4-5 grams of some koosh. but the thing is it was on the ground near me and another person under a table we were sitting at.

my story is, i just got there right when the cop pulled up. it was either between me or one other person he thought it was, but everyone told him that we didnt know it was there and kept to that. so he searches me and finds $80 on me and then starts to ask me about selling bud, but i denied it. and he also thought i was high at the time when i wasnt.

can anyone tell me can i be chargedand convicted with this bullshit?

or help me??....?

^ its right, unless a state has zero tolerence(Neveda) itll be a misdeamenor, not a big deal but still dont want it, get a lawyer and figt it, itll be easy to beat, just get a drug test(if clean) and give the esults to the judge, all the evidence is cercumstantial, just cuz you were sitting near weed doesnt mean it was yours, and lots of ppl carry 80 or more on them daily.

 

California is like the best state you could get posession in.

 

I think its unlikely to get charged unless you pissed the cop off in some way. I don't think its usually worth their time to write tickets for possesion.

yo alaska is, its decriminalized(same with colorado) under 4 oz for 21 or older is considered personal use and constinuationally legal. under 25 plants is also protected under right to privacy. alaska is the shit.
