Here's one a bit larger. We call them bull snakes here...elsewhere they're called gopher snakes.

Yep. Gophers and field mice, mostly. I think they're beautiful creatures. The bull snakes warm up to you really quickly if you're gentle. They like the warmth that they get from your body.

 

Who needs a cat when you have a snake ?

 

I have two dogs that think I'm crazy for messing with snakes. They're both "snake-smart" and consider me "snake-dumb" I think.

 

Well, at least two out of 3 of yah have a good head on your shoulders! ... Do doggies *have* shouders?
