Smoking mushrooms less damaging to your body than smoking Cannabis? I am talking about Amanitas, not psilocybes.
He said he's smoking Amanita Muscaria, which works rather well from what I've heard. As far as health risks from smoking them, I don't know. I've never been that interested in Amanitas.
