Sex and the City movie: WHY?!!!

wow, first i can't believe they made it a movie SECOND i can't believe people went to see it, and FINALLY i can't believe someone is defending it.

i've always liked SJP's looks. i did the big nosed handsome women just as much as anyone. and in LA Story she was TOTALLY sexy to me. was it LA Story? i can't remmeber. steve martin thing. no, it was the show i hated.

 

sex in the city is hilarious. i watched one last night where charlotte got $500 shoes in exchange for letting a shoe salesman with a foot fetish play with her feet, lol. god, it was funny.

 

I am excited to see it. I hope it is as good as the show.

I've not watched it, but read that instead of the familiar opening tune, much loved in the TV series. The tune is, instead, "Money, Money, Money", by the Swedish pop group ABBA. Which I assume is an in joke about the rationale for making the movie.
