I can't recall when I first heard of anal sex. It is one of those things you read about when studying sexuality, whether from the Ancient Greeks or an article in Playboy - I probably knew about it in my late teens (mid 1960s) I tried it with a guy in my early 20s. The first time I heard about it, and even then didn't understand it was when I was about 11 - 12.
