Is my weed still ok to smoke?

I've had this pretty big bag of weed, like 10 gs, sitting in a medium sized ziplock which is inside of one of those freezer gallon ziplocks and in a room temperature dark space for at least 5 months. I havent smoked it in a while, but do u think itll be good for summer? I mean it should be fine right? I know this probably sounds like a dumb question, but I have never had weed for this long before.

 

yeah, it will be fine. smoke it and find out.. Ive smoked weed I put through a load of whites in the washer.. clorox and everything.. haha minor headache, but it was still fine..

For me it seems that the longer weed sits, the more potent it gets, as long as there's no mold on it..

 

my one friend found a bag in her closet that was years old. she said it was kinda stale, but it still got her high!
you should be good.

 

I smoked my dads 12 year old weed for the lol's. I didnt get very high. I suppose 12 years is a bit much. But I have smoked 5 month old weed before, and its fine. I usualy end up cooking weed I keep for that long.

 

the real question is why did you let 10gs sit for 5 months

I found a couple of g's from when i started smoking those were about 6 months old and they got me damn high. go for it.
