I think with the terrible state that the world is in, something is going to have to happen... something big.... a revolution. What will the revolution be like? Violent? or peaceful? Who will "win"? What will the new world be like? Like I said, something big is going to have to happen for anything to change. Your thoughts?
the cuban revolution never worked out too well.. but it makes me wonder if it was just a government lie to prevent us from revolting
Whatever happens, non-violence will have to be the key to success if goodness and freedom are to win out. The word revolution has such a violent ring to it but really all the word means is dramatic change. Let's hope and pray that it happens as peacefully as possible. You're right though, if anything major is to change, it'll need a revolutionary means of doing so.
Everyone will have to. The real revolution will be over when everyone, in hindsight, thinks that the change was for the better. Otherwise, its just setting the stage for the next revolution. A temporary revolution, with losers as well as winners, may be an improvement. And lack of permenence is a weak argument against revolution. But everyone will win the permanent revolution.
