So I searched for this and couldn't find it but it probably already exists so I apologize in advance if this is a repeat, I'm horrible at searching.

BUT, I've been thinking about this a lot, well kind of a lot, so what band would you love see have one last reunion tour? It can be a band you loved and then they broke up, or a band you were too young to see tour. Just a band that you love to listen to but would die to see live, but that is impossible now and it makes you terribly sad.

Mine is the Talking Heads. I love dancing to their music at work and pretending like I'm at the concert but, sigh, that's probably never going to happen.

I went to a baseball game in Pittsburgh not that long ago, and met a group of random drunks and they said that this same question you are asking is a way to really find out who someone really is. And they went around asking me and my friends that question. Lol, funny story, but this thread reminded me of it.

Anyways, I would have loved to of seen The Doors play (with Jim, of course)
But that is never gonna/will never happen.

What willy wonka said, sucks I just got into them as soon as they broke up. But from what I've heard their shows from 2000 were pretty poopy due to trey's opiate addiction. So hopefully when they get back together he'll be sober and back on fire.

I'd be so down for a Phish reunion. Anyone got any info on that?

Haha for obvious reasons...for me..id say probably Rage Against the Machine or if you can take a band still together but change members..id say Jethro Tull from 1971 when they recorded Locomotive Breath..one of my fav. songs ever.

Don Cherry when he grouped up with Johnny Dyani and Okay Temiz. Sadly, Cherry died years ago :(

whoa. weird coincidence. i've been talking about this with my friends a lot. but when we talk about it, we make fanstasy shows. like opening bands, and headliners.
first off, yeah, most of what people wrote: Floyd, Hendrix, all that would be cool to see live.
right now off the top of my head, i'd say my ultimate fantasy show would have to be Nirvana opening, Metallica (original lineup w/ Mustaine and Mcgovney....or i guess Burton and Hammett would do too), Sublime, and Grade.
but fuck, now that i've started listing, a crapload of bands just came to mind. :\
oh well, there ya go. my two cents.

Hmm... I went in here thinking "hands down, The Beatles"... but now I'm going to have to add Phish and Nirvana to that set.

The Velvet Underground in as small and hipsterless of a venue as possible.
