More and more MPs are calling for Gordon Brown to quit.

Meanwhile, one of the more successful Labour politicians of the last decade is suddenly out of a job ...

I doubt Ken will return to parliament, he said he always disliked being an MP, and he was an outsider then. He's indicated he's going to retire from politics to write his memoirs. Though it's always possible he might make a London comeback in the future, I doubt he'd run for any other position than London Mayor....

Brown should quit because he has shown incompetancy in his work. The ten pence abolition will now leave millions worse off. Now you are better off on the Dole!

Indeed life is dull. But maybe if I knew just who Ken is life might get better can't hurt.

    Peace

I think Tony Benn should come outta retirement and take the reigns really.

You'd have to feel sorry for Brown if he wasn't New Labour, he must be kicking himself for not calling an early election way back when. Looks like we destined to New Tories rather than New Labour next time round. I don't think any of the possible changes in leader are going to shrug of the negative image of the current government. Here's hoping Cameron admits to killing orphans for the lulz so the Lib Dems can get in.

    Boris Johnson is just comical.

I'm going to wait a year or two and see how much difference this mayoral handover makes to my life as a Londoner - I highly doubt I'll notice anything, unless he messes around with bus charges etc (so I probably will notice something)
