Has anybody experienced "shared dreaming". The kind that Carlos Castaneda writes of. Not necessarily with a group of people. Even with one other person?
Well seeing how dreams are just a tiny portion of memory from astral travel that you do every night, yes, it is quite possible to share dreams.
I know nothing about what Castaneda says on the subject. Yes, I once was in a relationship with a very special woman, and on a few occasions we had shared dreams. I believe that we were so connected, that once in a while, our spirits would be together on the astral plane while we slept. It only happened about 4 - 5 times in 5 years. That I am aware of. But, it was pretty cool!
hahaha.... once again we're connecting in this forum. the answer is YES!!! my lover and i often pick up portions of each other's dreams. but most likely, we SWITCH dreams in a way. like, one night i was dreaming of my highschool, but it looked like his college. and he was dreaming he was in highschool, and when he described what it looked like, it was my school from years ago, which he has never seen. he described all kinds of details. things like this happen with increasing frequency. i think it's not just astral traveling, because i astral travel consciously as well as in sleep, and my dreams are rarely like my astral travels. but for some people, especially the ones who share pretty much exactly the same dream, it probably is the astral travel thing. but yeah... that's my 2cents lol!
I just found this post, cool. yeah nth and I share dreams or at least dream themes pretty frequently. it can be fun... or sometimes it's not so fun. part of the deep energy meshing that happens over time. we've traveled together too... although I tend to go unconscious when I go astral so that not as much.

yeh you can. first i had mine at about 7 years old. me and my sister both ended up in this place, spotting different coloured ghosties..my dad thencame in our room and woke us up telling us to be quiet(we were talking about it in our sleep out loud), haha
that's way cool, edenfield! i know people who meet each other across distance in the dream or astral planes if that counts...?
I too have experienced this many times... In fact in Jr. High I got several of my friends to try this experiment with me. We decide that we would try to meet each other in our dreams at a local gazebo, because we all knew how to get there. We frequently met there in our dreams, though some details were different from person to person, the rest was spot on. About five of us were in on the experiment and three of use kept doing it because we were able to. Last time I saw someone at that gazebo in my dreams was about five years ago... I emailed them about it and they replied, "I know, I was there. Remember?" i dreamt i was giving you a shiatsu last night but i couldnt do it because you kept rolling off the table( i don't know why i was giving shiatsu on the table thats a first haha lol,
I told everyone in the group to think about walking to the gazebo from where they were sleeping, in great detail, before they went to sleep every night for a week or until we were able to meet each other there. Even the ones who didn't meet at the gazebo reported intense dreams during that week.
I did roll around in my sleep a lot last night.... I also had an epic dream about a white tiger. I haven't had a white tiger dream in a few months. It was good. Maybe next time I can stay still for you.
