it's official, obama is the democratic nominee for the 2008 race. finally it has come down to obama vs mccaine. hopefully the hilary supporters will decide to go vote for obama. anyway, im stoked for the election comming up. hopefully the republicans won't steal this one again.

^ Couldn't agree with you more. Although having Hilary as a VP would probably seal the election for him, I think hes a stronger willed person than that. At least I hope so.

 

I know Obama has gone on the record saying that Hil won't be his VP, but that was still when she was in the race and saying that they had a pact would fuck up how people voted seeing as we'd be getting them both anyways so ya never know...

I honestly think that Hilary had a better chance at beating McCain soooo I'm a bit worried. But I wish Edwards was still in it for President, hes a good man.

 

i dunno if having hilary as his VP would be a good idea. you have to factor in that there are alot of independants and republicans (that didn't like bush) who don't know which way to go, and most of them really dont like hilary. in fact, ALOT of people hate hilary. obama needs to make his V.P an independent to get the votes of undecided people.

I'm reallly interested to see how my home state of NY votes. We are usually a democratic state but Hillary won the primary by a good margin here. Alot of hillary supporters are stubborn and will vote McCain over Obama. NY could be a battleground state. Which could be cool to actually see some campaigning going on here for once.

Thats why I'm also predicting McCain will be our next president which scares me even more. But the senate should swing nicely to the left so it really wont matter all too much.

 

I respect McCain. And I base that respect on the fact that his nickname in high school was "McNasty". Fantastic.
