Serious question..Virgin+tampon

I came up with this question today and i am really really confused since nobody can give me a answer lol.

How do virgins use tampons without breaking the hymen? Will it be ruptured if you get your period ? How does the blood get out if its blocked by the hymen?

Omg so confused. No i am not 13. I am in college..that is the upsetting part about it lol. I can not figure it out

 

How do you think we bleed? We're not completely sealed up.

 

a lot of women have their hymen partially or fully broken through other non-sexual activities (i.e. horseback riding, gymnastics)
in fact, some women are born without one altogether.

 

The hymen is elastic to a certain point. So using a tampon as a virgin isn't such a big risk.
