i have had only a few look and run ofcourse they were the types id want nothing to do with in the 1st place
ive had way way more become infatiuated just caiuse of the dreads
    (initialy at least)
not dating anyone now though (well almost and yea shes got dreads)

i dont care if some1 does or doesnt, dousnt matter to me as far as attraction but definately dreads add a lil extra to the attraction equation..and interest..

but ultimately exteroiur things matter less then interiur anyway..

so should this turn into a dread dating thread? like hi im single i have dreads who wants to date me kinda thing? lol

i dont have dreads, but guys with dreads are totally hot in my opinion. i wouldn't mind getting dreads, but i don't think i could stand the commitment.

is there a way to get soemthing that looks like dreads, except without the commitment? I'm considering going the whole nine yards, but i don't know, i wanna see what i look like first.

    Im soooo single...

    eh hem....

    moving on....

    Theres few dreadies around me...
    maybe... somewhere....
Around here you get the usual sheyat...
Stereotypical questions from guys that kinda wanna hit on me but they aren't quite sure if I wash my hair.
I mean, if a guy doesn't "get my hair" then he wont get me.
Not sayin' u need dreads to understand... but ya'll know what I mean ;)

LOL melissabee...im in the same boat.
    hey, phil316k,
In my part of the states (Portland, Oregon), around 35% of the people 18-35 have dreads. So its pretty common to go on dates with other dreadheads. I have had 2 girfriends with dreads, and they were beautiful...
But for the last year Ive been stuck in melissabee's "soooo single" category, because more chicks are invading Oregon from California. And the're plasic and fake..

i would say more like 3% or 4% at most. There are a good amount of dread heads, i see one or two a week, and since i dont have a car i see a lot of people riding tri met and such.

I dated a dred head once and he was hot but he was more concerned w/being an asshole than being cool. My husband doesnt have dreads and generally doesnt like them, but strangly enough loves mine he says cause theyre natural. hmm

i have dreads and i'm now dating the first person i ever met (as in made friends with) with dreads a few years ago! :D yeah i led a sheltered life, hardly any dreadheads in this area although the numbers are steadily increasing. over the past year they've become more popular.

like soaringeagle said obviously it's what's on the inside that counts, that's a very very true cliche, but for me funky dreads are really attractive. but it's not necessary for someone to have them for me to like them.

that said, phil316k how are you single??

I haven't gone out with anyone with dreads before, but it definitely makes a girl more attractive. Not just physically, but also because it shows they have confidence to be who they want to be, and are comfortable with themselves. and that shows through.

My boyfriend had dreads, when I didn't, cut his, when I got mine. We can't seem to be on the same page with dreads, so I'm not sure where I fit in the equation. hehe

I met my man when I didn't have dreads, but lucky for me, he loves them.

He's waiting to get his head done when he moves out because his parents are anti's. :/

I never dated a dreaded girl, so it would be nice for a change.
And yes, because of my dreads the market is a lot smaller. Although the dreadlovers market consists of lots of beautiful girls.
