What to do with Marijuana... Before smoking

Well when you get weed, i've heard alot of talk about stems etc and how some buds look crap while others look nice... Sorry for being a COMPLETE noob But can someone explain what stems look like n how to remove them, also how to tell if ur weed looks good or not.

 

I smell it cuz I like the smell of good weed in the morning.

 

haha...a stem looks like...a stem. you just gotta pick your weed before you smoke it so take it in your hand and pull off all the weed. you'll be able to tell the stem.

 

You don't want the stalks... or the the leaves really.
The bud's the best bit, if it smells good it should generally be good. If this is your first time (which it seems like it is) it shouldn't matter that much as to the potency.
Grind it up if you can, give it a bit of a dry (on windowsill by a radiator or in some kitchen roll in the microwave for 10-15 secs). If you don't have a grinder, you can use scissors if you put the weed in a cup or an egg holder.
after that... Njoy.

 

if the stems big n odvios just pluck it our i sometimes pick apart the bud other times just plop the whole damn bud in n light it (if small buds)

some weed also has seeds
if seedy pick it apart take out the seeds (dont smoke seeds they give u a headache) but seeds arent trash ..eat them they are the highest foem of proteine there is

the stems i sometimes chew on too but ya might wanna just toss em

if your a noob dont worry bout wether the weeds good weed or shitty it will alldo the tricjk in fact avoid getting into too good of weed as lomng as u can keep your tolerence low so yoiu can enjoy getting high from cheap dirt weeed cause if u stsart off with the best of the best yoyur tollerence will go up faster and so will the expenses

99% of the weed u buy will bnot need any drying at all only if its very freshly harvested and wasnt aslready properly dried (prefferably no heat just hang the plants roots up a few dayts before picking the buds)_

if u do decide to use heat never use a microwave (for cooking eitherr why the hell do people use those damn things? they destroy anything you put in them) use an u=over at the lowest heat and dont leave in tpoo long

grinders are unnesacary just another dumb thing to buy that ya dont need at all
buds can be smoked whole..or picked apart with fingers if yoyur rolling a joint

i dont even get the point in thre cup or egg holder..whatsd the point in that? put the weed in youyr bowl and smoke it

its not that complicated u dont need grinders and extra tools open weed bag take out weed put weed in pope light pipe..inhale..

I find that grinders make it simpler when I'm rolling a joint(dont let me lie my husband rolls the joint i couldnt roll one if my life depended on it) they (joint) come out looking truly f-up when I do it.

grinders make it so much easier to roll with and you can get I think it smokes nicer.

microwave worked fine for me yesterday.

 

no dude that shit is sticky for a reason. use something air-tight to store your weed in such as zip-lock baggies, glass jar or tupperware. you can use regular, unsealed sandwich baggies but don't use it store your weed for more than a week.

i smoke the stems. only when i'm alone though. usually i just smoke the first layer cause i can see some bud still on it as well as crystals. however i only do this when i'm completely out of weed to smoke.

 

stems is just like a little stick looking thing that runn up the middle of your bud. if your bud is compact(fluffed out) you can just pick the bud itself off of the stem and break it up with no stems in it. if its brick(flat bud) you gotta rip it to hell and pull out all the little twig looking things and the seeds in the bud.

i got used to breaking up compact weed and then i couldn't do brick weed i got all confused try to pick bud out between the stems, like a spiderweb or some shit haha.

 

you dont need a grinder if you want to grind up your weed. just get a cup and scissors or a knife and chop it up. Grinders are unnecessary and expensive. I wouldnt get a grinder if im a first time smoker, and hell even after smokin grass for so many years ive never needed a grinder. I chop up my weed into fine powder with only a knife and a cutting board. plus its more fun to do that too.

I usually mix my weed with tobacco when im smoking a joint or blunt, and the knife+cutting board method blends the two of these together really nice. (Ok, I dont care if you're against mixing weed with tobacco, and I prefer that you dont care that I mix my weed with tobacco).

 

it's good weed if it smells, they all smell different but you can tell when its dank. and when you load a bowl, pick the weed off into pieces and and you'll see the stem eventually, all nugs have stems, just some are thicker than others. Smoking a stem never hurts, it just doesnt burn as well.
