If you want Harley's and beer, nothing beats the Redwood Run in Piercy, CA. Better hurry though, it is June 13-15. This place is the ultimate place for a concert. Private property, which means no cops allowed, and anything goes. And it is always a peaceful and rockin time. This years bands include CCR, Gary Hoey, Marshall Tucker Band, Ratt, Ten Years After, and a few others. I was at this Run a few years ago where I saw and filmed Wishbone Ash, Savoy Brown, Elvin Bishop, Joe Bonamassa, Gregg Rolie, and BTO. What a great show that was. And there is a great creek running just behind the stage for swimming. Great food and cold beer sold there as well, at decent prices. And you can either stand in front of the stage, or if you just want to relax, you can sit a few yards back on the hill to see over everyone else. The lineup sounds cool. There are a number of these events across the country and this one sounds cool too. It would be cool to gather all of these sorts of events into one thread and spread the word.
