seasons change....people change

i hav said heard it said that your favourite season generally coordinates with the season in which you were born. in my case i find it to be true. i am an autumn baby. i love fall more than all the seasons. its when bonfires are the coziest. its when the harvest moon is. i love seeing its orange presence in the air. its when the leaves change and fall off the trees. its when the crickets sing their mating call. its a time of reflection.
and it seems that i am in the autumn of my life. several leaves have fallen lately. leaves that were holding me back. leaves that were necessary to shed in order for my trunk to maintain its stability. its my time of reflection and change. my time to build rings around my trunk, to strengthen my roots. its lovely to be here. yes indeed.
all the seasons have there appeals to me as i am a lover of life and all it has to offer me, even the desolation of winter. i embrace it all. but autumn.......wow....what a wonderful season.
when is your favourite season and why?

 

Fall is my favorite, the colors, the blue sky, just the feeling in the air...I get energy in the fall, and feel inspired to start a new phase.

I was born in June, and i love that time of year too.

I was born in the fall and it happens to be my favorite season. It's inspiring to see all the colors and the cool air. I also love the North Georgia mountains in the fall, they're even more beautiful than before.

 

I like spring because of of the flowers bloom and it is warm and I know the semester is almost ending.

 

i'm not even sure which season i like the best... i know im not really looking forward to winter though

 

fall isn't the same in southern california...i actually like winter best there..with the awesome skies

 

you can say it and i post in there almost all the time thank you. that is where my most intimate thoughts are. but not everyone comes there. so i wanted to see how everyone else felt about this subject.

summer

i love the sun and love hot weather. plus everything is so green and alive.

i'm born in the winter and hate it. actually i get really excited during the first snow fall of the season, but that quickly dies as winter drags on until march.

 

fall is nice but at the same time kinda sucks cuz all the leaves are dying and winter is near, but those 2-4 weeks when the leaves change colors it looks nice

 

exactly I am in san diego and there is no changing of the leaves it sucks.

 

i coulda sworn them thoughts was in that head of yours...heh, sorry for raggin' on ya, your a really cool lil' lady

 

yea, but its the place to be come february....i actually hated the summers in so Cal, but liked all of the other seasons, mostly because of the smog...of course i lived in Los Angeles...I'm sure its way worse than san diego in that respect

 

not really, the reason the leaves change colors is because it gets cold fast

 

thanks fractual. i think the same of you. i am surprised you are only 16. your thoughts and attitude seem so much bigger and brighter than mine were then. perhaps that was my spring...........

 

I love fall because of all the pretty leaves, the perfect temperatures and the feeling of the sun on my skin. once i'm done school i'll probably love fall even more cuz i find school extremely stressful, but i still love going out during the days and walking around in the warmth.
I was born in winter and i hate winter, it's so cold and slushy and miserable, i hate waiting for the bus in the winter and i hate pretty much everything else about winter. snow is pretty but not when you have to walk!! i'd rather live in the carribean and look at pictures of snow, then feel sorry for all the sorry souls that have to walk in the snow. mwahahaha!!!

Actually.................I love all the seasons. I enjoy all types of "outdoor activities" that go with every season. I was born in December. I love to snow ski as much as I love to water ski. Even camping in the winter is fun....................
