Considering our bodies are made up of carbon elements, which can also be broken down even further into hydrogen and hellium, in addition to a large quantity of water (98% to be exact) - our brain is a neurological network of electrical impulses and other complicated bio-chemicals. Electricity can kill us if we consume too much of it, yet if applied in small interval doses, it can also save our lives. Science has proven that through lab tests, machinery, artificial limbs, and other prosthesis, that we can control these man made objects or achieve various feats through a network of neurologial commands for precise responses. It's been done with countless primates, rodents, and other animals. Even in today's society, the mind has been shown to do remarkable things, based on it's organic and electrical composition. So with that said, it makes me wonder (without bringing God as our creator into this), can our consciousness be explained in scientific terms as an unseen electrical discharge when we leave our bodies for good?
I think you would find the DMT theory extremely interesting as it relates to the energy leaving our bodies upon death among other things.. http://rickstrassman.com/dmt/chaptersummaries.html Hope to shed some light for you
I think there's something more to it then that. The human body is an amazing machine... yet what runs the machine? True, some say the brain... but I think there's a lot more than meets the eye.
Precisely... Which is why I believe that electricity is the cataylist for "jump starting" and maintaining life.
