In all fairness there is no straight answer to this question.
It depends on many various factors, and it will effect different people in hugely different ways. Fuck with acid and it'll fuck with you.
Treat it as a tool rather than a 'drug', and you're in.

Didn't I say this sounded like an X myth in the first place.

Oh and myths aren't opinions, they're myths. You had no information to back you up(cept an 87 y.o. IS AGE WISDOM?). And the idea you were supporting has now been proven wrong. So what were you telling people, just your opinion? NO, you were stating false information and abiding to it.

It's blatantly clear you not only have done very little research and your source of this great number of "a lot" of people is one 87 year old man that is just as ignorant as you. I'm just saying don't post CRAP on the forums because this is entirely not true and could have easily been found out through hardly extensive research. What your doing is scaring others out of the experience by posting myths. You should research LSD and actually learn about what you talk about.

I've done all the research on this particular subject and I can send you it if you would like.

I just had to point out the completely unstructured "opinion" (myth) with absolutely no evidence to back up the idea. I didn't do it because i'm mad at you or because I dis-like you. on the contrary, I have no problems with you at all. I have problems with the information you posted as it was entirely one big fallacy that doesn't need to pollute the minds of potential LSD users. It's about defending the chemical itself because if I didn't, you and your friends or whichever minds you might influence about LSD would believe that it would actually "blow holes" in your brain.

I hear myths like these all the time and it just gets way out of hand. I don't enjoy hearing them and I don't like it but I have fight them because if I don't people keep spreading them and making them worse. Most of the time the people you hear them from have never even taken acid.

  7. Exactly. Like 98% of the time

    Acid and ignorance don't mix.

I've never done E but I've heard that it can mess up the chemicals in your brain so that as you describe, nothing is fun anymore. I'm not sure LSD can help with that.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to infer that you where "brain damaged". I was just indicating that it seemed I had read about "E" messing with brain chemistry.

I looked it up and Wikipedia said this: "The primary concern is generally that there may be negative long-term consequences that result from the drug's alleged neurotoxic effects on serotonergic neurons. Some further studies have also shown that this damage causes increased rates of depression and anxiety, even after quitting the drug."

When you said: "Sometime ago i become with the feeling like nothing is fun, everything is boring like go out with friends, normal things in life are boring to me." I thought that maybe "E" had messed with your serotonin levels.

    Just something to think about.

Everyone will react differently. For me, LSD changed my entire perspective of reality for the rest of my life, but in a positive way.

Just be aware, sometimes you take the good with the bad. My deepest and profound revelations have came from my most hellish trips.

LSD is like a box of chocolates - you never know what you’re going to get.

Myself, I've never had a bad trip and never got the same thing twice.
But I know people that have had bad trips and I know someone that didn't come back from a trip. Why that happened to them and not me, I don't know. But I do know that if you take LSD wanting something or expecting something the chances are you'll get something else.

You pays your money and you takes your chances!

Again my advice, if you're going to take LSD, make sure you do everything you can to make sure you can relax and enjoy it. Then relax and enjoy it, go with the flow, because if you try to force it you're going to go somewhere you don't want to be.
