If I didn't need it I would boycott gas for the simple pricing issue they are appearantly having. It figures that as soon as a presedential canidate starts talking about not giving the oil companies tax breaks that they would up the annie and raise prices again. ugh!!!
I hope gas prices keep rising higher and higher until either: A) Nobody drives a car. B) They actually start making cars h2o fueled (Honda just took the first step with their new model, and hopefully others will follow.) C) We stop using internal combustion all together. D) Companies stop accepting money from oil providers because nobody is buying their cars anymore. That'll be the day. It just sucks that I can eventually see the middle east go into poverty because of this. Hopefully they will realize that peace between their nations may help save massive amounts of money that they have accumulated through oil (mainly saudi anyway), and they will be able to help eachother out in more mutual relations providing for eachother. (Each area has something pretty unique that other surrounding nations could benifet from.)
That's the beauty of not owning a vehicle...Don't follow the gas prices, and don't care about gas prices... Only effects me with some food prices going up, but that's all.
The problem lies in taxes. Oil companies make next to nothing. They get abused as a mask for what's actually going on. We have to keep bumping up the taxes for whatever reason. Then the oil companies are expected to give out free gas. Sorry, it's not happening. Your best bet here would be to boycott American communism.
