I was just thinking about this game that i used to play when i was still a kid.

It was the second game in the battlefield series, and you could play this old rock (ccr, rare earth, etc) when you where in a vehicule, i damn loved the music, so i got stuck looking up the titles of those songs, and after a while i began downloading music of those bands, and from one thing came another thing.

I find i somehow ironic and just wanted to share the irony :)

Btw, anyone else who thinks battlefield vietnam is definelty the best of the series?

A resounding yes! BFV was so much fun, and very underrated. The maps were great and fighting in the jungle was just plain awesome.

I tried to play it again a couple months ago, but had installation trouble and couldn't get online play working.

And it did have a great soundtrack.

It was a great game, but it made flying way too hard unless you were in a helicopter, because the maps were so small and you flew so fast. I want to play 2142.

The first time I played. I jumped into a demolished building and was looking out the window at both teams blowing the shit out of each other.

It was cool. But I stayed in the building.

Hmm. I could swear the rating stayed about 8.5 - 9.0 on a 10 scale on average.

Yea, critics where a bit divided, i guess, when you are a hypocrit you can't enjoy a game like battlefield vietnam, but atleast i enjoyed it, jumping in a helicopter tuning in with some goofy rock and then going wild, yea ^^. The gameplay was much more enjoyfull then all the others of the bf series, i don't know.. i guess i just don't like this hype of war realism, why try to make a game real life realistic when gameplay is the only thing that counts? That's one of the reasons why i never bought cod4, i played all the other cod's but i'm sick and tired of those games.. if people want to fight a real war then they should join the army, but leave us gamers alone, screwing up the gameplay and all that, ffs >.<.
