ok, so I smoke occasionally, but i have a heart condition. I was wondering, fist off, would you say using pot would be dangerous. It isnt a stimulant, but sometimes i feel my heart race. The message of the thread is that I was wondering if weed had alot of extra chemicals in it, like, if it wasnt just pure marijuana, and if those chemicals are what could affect me negatively... Also, is dank, I mean really really good weed, just well grown, or does it have other shit in it or what?? any responses would be helpful, especially with facts, or reliable sources. thanks
I'm no doctor so I can't say if it would be good or bad for your heart, not the best for your lungs though but after a few years of smoking and keeping fit I don't find myself short on breath often. There aren't extra chemicals in it unless you have a shady dealer who is spraying it to smell more potent. And dank is just primo bud, so if someone offerers you some and it looks thick and crystally hit it up.
I'm not sure if it would be bad for you or not, but I would advise against it. It raises most peoples' heartrate though. That's normal. BTW, marijuana is classified as a slimulant, depressant, and a psychedelic. It DOES have some simulating properties.
whats the heart condition? it could possibly have negative effects. also dank, just means really good or really dense nugget.
Round here the vast majority of au natural is sprayed with grit/salt/SMA/sugar or grown with miracle grow and plant steroids for quicker yields. Reason being more weight; profit. So for a local answer I'd say yeah, there's a shedload of chemicals.. take your pick. But on the whole, I find Sativa strains boost the rate of me heartbeat and generally give me energy from nowhere.. Indica strains tend to knock me back and make the chair I'm sitting in gain an extra level of comfort. I doubt you'd find any adulterated chemicals in well grown healthy buds.
so u think someone made up a heart condition and wrote propaganda about home grown weed? why would anyone one do this?
do you think increased heart rate/blood pressure is necesarily bad then? Doesnt the same type of thing happen on roller coasters?
