You're the ones who made it so popular over there. Bud is more popular in Ireland than Guinness, and it does pretty well in the U.K. as well. If little breweries had the funds to export, I'm sure you'd have tried some good stuff by now. Mexican urine is Corona. Sam Adams really is good stuff, despite it's popularity; Boston Lager, baby?
I just realised I've never had any american beer :O I've had NZ, Danish, Mexican, Indian & German, but never American :O
Well, my good friend is going to America next month, specifically Vermont. She will bring me back a bottle of beer as she always does from her travels. What beer should I ask her to get me?
are ya looking for a beer from Vermont? i love love love Long Trail Double Bag. Long Trail brewery also has other good offerings, but Double Bag is my favorite. Magic Hat brewery also has some good offerings outside the beers they produce the most (#9 and circus boy - these are alright and very drinkable, but MH offers better) and last i read, Vermont has just passed law to allow higher ABV% beers to be produced in VT and for beer with higher ABV% to be imported into Vermont.
I like Left Hand's milk stout I don't know if it was mentioned or not Big Horn brewery at CB & Potts or Estes Park brewery
Fort Collins is ok. Did you know that big Horn brewery and CB&potts is a chain? i didnt know that until I dined at one in indianapolis. I was let down some.
I just found that out about 2 weeks ago, it is kinda a let down, but hell their beer and food is still good.
