It has been over two months since I had this so the details elude me, but the saddest dream I can remember was on in which my best friend was a giant pet python that I had. For one reason or another I had to give it away to a zoo and I cried and cried, but the snake ended up getting to have a gigantic cage complete with a huge gridwork of rope for it to climb around on. Most memorable details of the dream: The huge snake Me having to part with it the huge gridwork I have never had a pet snake and I don't really have an interest in obtaining one.
Hi Yiff, your dream touched me. There is so much love in it ... I thought maybe the snake came into your dream to set your heart free, and help you grow through the experience and reach beyond the grid of illusion, and the cages of the mind. It is all real as much as it is a dream ... and even as you go through the contradictions of life, you may see its wonder all at the same time. There is no separation then. Sometimes it's all about the lost magic ... And so, maybe like the snake living happily in the huge grid that is your life, you may find your dreams are real as they touch you with magic and wonder, and a deeper sense of being part of the world - not separate. The spirit snake is your wonderful friend here. She just changes too. May your happiness and greater depth balance the sadness. Yup just a thought, don't know if it makes much sense ... Thank you for sharing.
I've had a few dreams involving snakes, in one of them i was a ... giant python, probably 40 foot long ...and i was winding my way around the streets of my town at night. In another, ... the native american spiritual teacher and author, jamie sams (i'd recently been to a seminar given by her) was winding two snakes around me in a spiral using a fishing rod. I had another dream about her at the time which was very nice ...we were holding hands accross a table and she was smiling and giving me comfort and reassurance.
