and i'm wondering why in the hell, if the murderer was "sick of life, sick of everything," he didn't just kill HIMSELF? why plow into random pedestrians and go on a stabbing spree? what the hell, man? these murder-suicide things REALLY piss me off. like when a parent kills her children then doesn't do a good job of killing herself. why not try to kill yourself first?
I imagine they are probably so sick of life they dont see anythin as real or meaningful anymore, just objects in their path. They have lost a little bit of sanity which is there to help you understand its not just YOU, you are a part of this world with everyone else.
Some people don't want to be isolated with their suffering. "I want to throw down your kid and stomp on his testicles, and then you will know what it is like to experience waking up everyday as me. And only then will you feel my pain." - Mike Tyson
i would imagine is was very smart of them to not rush a crazy man with a survival knife in a screaming rage. japanese people ARE known for being smart, but terribly unarmed.
I think the answer is , he was making some sort of protest. He was fed up with life probably because he had some sort of greivance against others , and sections of , or all of society in general. He went killing in a busy , expensive electronics consumer district. A place where everyone's purpose was to buy things ( often gimmicky , unnecessary ) for just themselves ( in his opinion). Just like most of us would just as soon spend money on jewellery /watches than spend money getting someone a job , or getting them out of starvation in Africa He thought "none of you are innocent so I'll make a point for you all before I die" What I cant understand is that the press never report this.Every act has an effect.Even serial killers have some sort of warped greivance/agenda. Drug dealers risk their lives because they have lessened the value of society's concepts / their own lives etc etc
so...he coulda left a note saying "i hate consumerist society" then killed himself instead of strangers. easy.
