It seems like my pits never stop sweating. I can almost always feel little drops of sweat runnin down my side and when i gt home from school my shirts are soaked. I've tried different kinds of anti-persperent deodorant but nothing is working. Any thoughts or ideas?
Yeah. I think maybe diet can stop that problem. Or maybe vitamins. I'd talk to your family doctor about it. Good Luck!
alright thanks. iv actually come to find out that i sweat A LOT less whe i dont wear deodorant. it sucks either i smell kinda bad but my shirts have stains and shit, or i dont smell bad and i sweat constanly. owell
This used to happen to me. I went to a dermatologist. He gave me prescription anti perspirant that worked pretty well. Another option was surgery to cut some nerve at the spinal cord. It had an almost 50% chance of paralysis or death....no thanks. I was cured when I went in the army. * weeks of getting my ass kicked and sweating what seemed like 100s of gallons, I had no more problem.
Mitchum deodarant worked for me. It is unscented, with the maximum allowable amount of active ingredient.
Sweating help the body cool... and removes toxins from the body.. I used to hate the fact I had very sweaty feet. Who doesnt!!!!! But what I learned was that it was a good sign that I was in good health.. Try Gatorade liquids that replace electrolites which you lose while excessive sweating... If you use alcohol your sweat will stink like booze...
lol thats kinda weird, i dont ever remeber my sweat smelling like whiskey, but when i was smoking bud anytime i didnt wear deodorant i would smell like weed. yeah i sorta gave up on the whole sweating thing for now, because i dont have the money for any medical grade stuff.
if not wearing deoderant stops the sweating, I'd do it. Every week or so(like a sunday) run vinegar with a paper towel on your sweat spots, this will neutralize the smell(but the vinegar will stink if you don't wash it off the next day or so.)
There are anti-perspirants out there, that actually try to prevent your pits from sweating by changing the size of the pores to shrink them with chemicals, and thus make it worse for your body when it's hot and makes it sweat more. Try using an aluminum-free and chemical-free deodorant. Something that doesn't mask the odor, but something that simply helps to control bacteria (which causes the smell). When I switched over to this: http://www.thecrystal.com/product.cfm/id/1/scid/a/submit_thumb/2 I had no more problems with my pits. You can buy deodorant crystals over the counter in most stores. My boyfriend has the same problem. He wears a white t-shirt underneath his shirts everyday, but I've convinced him to use a crystal and it seems to be working for him.
yea i sweat a lot too, lol i'll be playing a game on my phone and start feeling beads of sweat dripping down my sides. it sux i hate it, when i used to go out a lot to clubs i'd be drenched in swea. lol i started takin my shirt off so it didn't get soaked. i've sorta gotten over it and wear gillete clear just to keep me smelling fresh
How old are you ? Some teens sweet a lot because they are nervous and a little insecure about things. Is this you ? It can be a confidence thing. I don't know how not putting on deoderant would help. Peace
I wouldn't not put deoderant on. because i smell like a giant bag of onions. i Have that nervous thing. but if im wearing deoderant i wont stink my forehead just sweats.
I hate sweating man, in the summer it's the worse. Especially when you've been walking around all day in the sunny 90 degree weather and you get that nasty wet feeling at the bottom of your boxers and you're around chicks that night and you really don't have much access to a shower.
When I was younger I had a problem with excessive sweating too, I tried lots of different deodorants and none of them worked. Well, now that I'm older I haven't had so bad a problem with it, but I did find a deodorant that worked very well. It was an herbal sport deodorant I got at a health food store. Cost me $7, but it lasts over six months and I used a lot each use. I would suggest finding a natural deodorant. Some stink and are very wet, but you can find some good stick deodorants.
You need "The Crystal". I've had mine for over 7 years now. Takes a loooong time to wear it down. $7. Now I need a replacement cause I dropped the remains of it in the sink and it shattered. I promise they work as advertised. $1 a year for no BO. Can't beat it. http://www.thecrystal.com/product.cfm/id/1/scid/a/submit_thumb/2 x
Google hyperhidrosis deodorants. There are some you use 3 times a week...and nothing else. Your pits will be dry in a week. But be careful, this stuff is powerful...and if you overdue it you'll burn like crazy. Maxim is one, there are others. Target even carried one a while back... they may still. EDIT: I checked CVS and Target and they both carry Certain Dry. It's like kryptonite to the sweat glands. It is nothing like normal deods.
