I agree. I've always found vulgarities a total turn-off, which is why I never use any when I write my erotica. I find the genuine anatomical terms have a certain tone of poetic beauty to them as it is.

However, it is an interesting question. From the male perspective I can only answer from anal sex, where all occasions have been with the use of a condom, but from what sensations I have felt, I doubt I could ever have felt the release of semen - only the orgasmic contractions of the penis, and the additional climactic thrusting.

I would imagine that in the female any possible sensation of seminal release would be lost among the internal vaginal lubricating fluids anyway, although I could be wrong in this assumption.
