Hey, I've just dyed a pair of red jeans black with standard cotton dye, but the stitching is still red because it's polyester.

Does anyone know how I'd go about dying the stitching, if possible?

You probably won't be able to do anything about that. Polyester is plastic and doesn't absorb dye. It gets its colour during manufacturing.

Black permanent marker maybe? Or you could just leave the red stitching...

Yeah, I've looked at them, and having no experience in dying or anything it seems abit confusing. Also, the fact that the water needs to be hot as hell scares the shit out of me. It'll probably be cheaper just buying a new pair of jeans. Hehe!
