I know I do! As a belly dancer, some of the movements require alot of flexibility, and unfortunately, I'm not very flexible at all. If anyone has any handy tips, or comments, or would just like to talk about this, go ahead! All comments are very much so welcomed! P.S Even though I can't get flexible...er, in time, we do have a performance coming up, and it'd be nice to be able to improve for the next performance.
As far as flexibility and strength are concerned, I haven't tried anything more successful than yoga. It works hard on your core strength while you stretch and stabilize every part of your body. Not to mention the benefits of relaxed breathing and meditation for you mind and body as well. As a general helpful way to increase flexibility, do stretches every morning. And hoooolllldddddd! Relax into the stretches and you'll do more good for your body.
