This could be it haha... well I've been with her for 2 weeks now, and I am starting to get annoyed by her already and i am thinking of calling it quits ... We are quite the opposite, shes the too social loud type, and I am just the laid back kinda guy that doesn't over stress the importance of knowing everybody and being friends with everybody like she is. And there is another thing, I kissed her normally on the cheek the other day and she was really upset and asked me to never do that again, I dunno what the hell was that about but it made things kinda awkward for a while and well I don't feel the chemistry at all anymore since that. So what should I do? call it quits, or hang in there and hope it gets better?
She freaked over a peck on the cheek? Okay, first question... how old are you? I'm gonna ask before I give the whole "sacrifices" shpeel.
dude I dated a girl when I was in 7th grade for like an hour. started dating in homeroom and broke up before lunch lol.
That kinda shit don't count, Neodude! Kinda like my longest relationship, 2 years, was with a gay dude (who turned out to be bi, and apparently that makes it legit) Anywho, 19 and you can't get past the little "annoying" things? Hmm... good luck in the future, kiddo. I'm 19 and waaaay over that immature crap. Maybe your gf needs time. Maybe she's not really into you. Talk to her about it... not us.
Hahaha thats insane ...and I thought I am gonna have the pleasure of having the shortest relationship ever.
I dated a girl for 2 days before I got bored with her and dumped her once. I'd say... fuck settling for average. Find someone that truly works out for you, someone who excites you, someone who makes you feel alive. Fuck sacrifices and all of that shit. You shouldn't sacrifice shit for a relationship at 19.
haha I know it doesn't count. I only posted it because I had to make sure I still had the title for shortest relationship ever.
Words of wisdom really, thanks mate. I think I will dump her, like I said we're just polar opposites and the chemistry is gone.
Why did you start dating in the first place? Also, oddly enough, my boyfriend and I are honestly polar opposites. He's a lawyer, I'm the hippy. We've been living together for two months and will be moving into a new place in two more month. But I can deffinitely see this relationship blowing up in my face some day. So you're probably better off w/ BSRubins advice.
We liked each other so I thought why not give it a try..but I don't think we like each other that much anymore since the weird peck on the cheek incident which i still don't get lol. Its actually funny how people sometimes think after a break up that their ex is the only person they can be with in the world, when there are billions like you said..But we're all guilty of it.
No offense to you, Vana, but I am so sick of people advocating staying in an unhappy relationship. Even if your unhappiness is over something trivial, you're still unhappy. It's just as unfair to the person you're with. You're letting them think everything's okay, letting them get more invested in you, while you're just thinking all the while that you're going to break up eventually. Everyone deserves happiness. Don't settle for anything less than bliss. Of course, bliss can come with a few bumps. But if you really have love, you WILL sacrifice for them. You'll WANT to.
