Hip Forum Realistic Attitude

OK, I guess this is an appropriate place, and as per the guidelines, which did not unequivocally forbid nude pix, there is a nude pic here that is relevant to this post and is not only in good taste but artful. And it could be argued, in the context that naked female breasts are no more "nude" than naked male breasts, it is not really a nude pic after all.

I came to this Hip Forum site by accident while researching events from my free-wheeling past. Since posting here I am very pleased with the openness of this site regarding all sexual matters.

Now I know there are rules, no male genital pix to be posted in the easily accessible forums (tho I have seen these and they didn't seem to be causing anyone any trauma).

I guess what got me really thrilled was the very long "New Body Shot Thread" in the Real Kinky forum of Love and Sex. I just logged on as a visitor and found that this is accessible to anyone coming to this site. Of the pix on that very long thread are butt and breast shots of men and women - just us - me and my fellow posters on this site lookin' at each others' semi-nakedness.

I like the openness that represents and the honesty. Unlike MySpace which censors some of the most benign pix showing too much butt crack or a few pubes under the lame excuse that "there are 14-year-old members here," this site includes these young adolescents for what they are - curious, exploring, and ultimately already sexual beings (who all have butts and most likely have had pubes for years).

I have a grandson that I have spent some quality time with since he was 13 and I know from that contact that nothing I have seen on this site could be harmful to any 14-year-old. I also know this intuitively (or experientially) as I was once a 14-year-old boy who lived in an era of sexual denial and hypocrisy.

I recently left another forum board of which I was a contributing member for three years. The immediate reason was that I was tired of being personally attacked by a right-wing, army combatant because of my liberal, anti-authority opinions and receiving no support from my supposed friends on that board (except for one young woman who made eloquent arguments against the conservative reactionary majority). Another member with my Hippie, Free-Luv, Challenge Authority experience had already left that board because of similar circumstances. Arguing with obtuse ppl is not how I wish to spend my leisure time, so now I hang out here.

However, that conflict was just the proverbial final straw. What made me almost leave the board a few months earlier was another censored pic that I posted.

No one on that board was under 18 and even if accessed by kids, this pic by no stretch of the imagination would be considered harmful to them. It is basically a nudist or art pic of a naked, pregnant woman. I am quite proud of this pic - it was shot the day before delivery, so I almost missed it - and I posted it in ref to one of the young members of that board who was pregnant.



The mod moved it to the Adult Forum. Well, I have had him remove pix before so I half expected this kind of prudery from him, but it still irritated me no end. By what standard does this pic need to go in an Adult Forum? It is no worse than any number of statues or oil paintings in any museum accessible by families with kids.

Granted there are families that will not allow their kids to see such artistic expression and I consider those kids unfortunate for the lack of exposure to the human body. But, that is from a sexually liberated old hippy nudist

So, I guess this post is about Sexual Freedom or just a more enlightened Sexual Attitude and a realistic inclusion of young people into the "adult" community.

 

Well I guess I'll be the first to say it: That's a beautiful picture, and should be available to be seen by everyone, not hidden from view. Pregnant women especially are amazing subjects for capturing the beauty of humanity - just look at that smile! If that image is considered obscene by anyone, then the problem lies with them. Unfortunately I can't speak for the moderators for THIS board, but I would think from my experiences here that it won't be moved, changed or requested to be pulled. Cheers for sharing that picture!

Shale speaks the truth.
We had to leave that site due to the rules not being supported by the mods.
I don't mind a conversation or argument for that matter about just about anything.
BUT, I expect my arguments or point of view to be attacked, not me personally.
If that can happen here, I hope to make new friends and have some good ol fun.
