I remember awhile back someone had posted a way to form dreads by twisting and ripping. I need to work on some straight hair spots.
Can someone explain how to do this OR find the thread. i searched but no luck on my part.

ok from what i understood (if i understood cirectly) its sorta what i did to 1 or 2 stuburn strands u take a sectuin twits it then at the ends kinda seperate 2 parts (this may sound confusing i hope someone clsrifies) take <that part and that part> in randoim places put <through> so <is now over> so you have >< pull< that way> and > that wa,y< (yea im making it confusing basicly twist hair cross 2 rawndom sectiins through eachother randomly and pull kindas thru eachother towards roots
each time retwist re-randomly select and re-random;lly cross pulling forcing knots towatds eoots

someone else can explain better ive never used anyt "techniques" just iuf a lose strand was botherin me i played around and diod what felt natural to do and somehow seem to have stumbled onto what seemed very simular if not exacvtly the twist n rip methiod or a very loose version of the fluip method (only to get them to be 1 section maybe flipped 4 times in 8 inches then let em do theyre thing)

    ok found this

idvioskly you want to only pay attention to the actual rwisting and ripping
