I hope I didn't fuck up my San Pedro...

I chopped up my San Pedro today and all I have left to do is dry it out. I think I ran into a little bit of a problem tho..i stuck about 1/2 of it in the oven on 150 degrees for a little bit to speed up the process because I read on the internet on multiple sites that it was effective. i ended up noticing that the water was draining into the cookie sheet. i took it out. what did i do wrong?

 

Sounds like you chopped up the entire cactus and threw it all into the oven. Remove the woody core. Remove most all of the white or light green white middle around the core. keep the outer half inch of the skin including all of the dark green layer. flat slices of green layer will dry under a fan in less than 48 hours even as little as 24. You can do it in the oven on low low setting with the door cracked, but you will lose or degrade some mescaline because of the heat due to vaporization or molecular deconstruction. The core and white layers of san pedro contain a lot of fluid.

Save the fluid and tissues in the refrigerator until you decide which direction you want to go in from here, either continuing drying it or converting to a drink, depending on what exactly you have done to your cactus so far.

 

well i actually cut away the core and made a tea, but i chopped up into little pieces all the green and white tissue with the skin left on. right now i have them sitting in front of my air conditioner with the air blowing on it full blast. i didn't want to waste the white tissue because there's still small amounts of mescaline in it =/ oh well i just hope i didnt fuck it up..i'll have to wait and see..

 

Its not worth the extra effort to go after small amounts, the green tissue will do the job. You havent screwed it up if you dry it reasonably quickly; youll be fine...be aware though, including that outside white skin (on the outside of the green) will make you vomit; the core, they say can do similar things...smoke a little weed with your dose to help with the nausea.

 

that happened to me when i fuckin tried to dry em in the oven. drink the fuckin juice man. I tripped pretty good that way once too.

 

Why not vomit, isn't that a part of the whole trip?

 

its not the "whole part" if you puke you can definitely and probably will trip harder though but it's mainly in your head anyways, but usually puking brings on a trip harder
