anybody skate?

as in skateboarding. they made a new park in my town im pretty excited about it, haven't skated in a loooong ass time, so this is my chance to get back into it. who else skates?

 

Me too man. Theres a skatepark near my house.

Me and my friends always chill there and get high or drunk... On the weekends both usually. Theres always fights there lol.

Once the school I go to now fought my old school at the skatepark, So I told all the kids at my school they were a bunch of dirty delta fags. delta is the grimiest school in the city and all the other schools call the kids Dirty Delta's and they get all pissed.\

Thank god I get to go back to my old school and that this year is over, because I can't go back there or I'll get jumped lol.

i used to skate. i dont have a board anymore but i use my friends sometimes. i kinda want to get back into it cause of its decent transportation.... but yeah all i can do now is ollie kick/heel flip. i miss my santa cruz deck....

 

I used to but I have a fucked up kneee so I quit. I bike and snowboard though.

 

i had a popwar, fuckin broke. foundation i forgot what happened to it, and then my friend gave me anothe foundation and i left it at this guys house and he says he dont know what happened to it. so now im borrowing a blank.

shit i think im gonna die at that park.

 

I used to sit on skateboards and ride down steep hills and stuff if that counts.

 

All the girls at the skatepark (we call them scallies) do that. It's funny when they eat shit doing it though lol.

Skaters wear really funny shoes that make their feet look huge.

 

ah for some reason i never got the idea of skate shoes. i can go to k mart and get some shit that works just as good or i could go to the mall or some place and pay 80 bucks cause they have some letters or word on em.

How can you skate without skate shoes?

Thats dangerous man. If your new to skating you don't have to buy $100 shoes. Yuo could get like a $25 pair of Vans.

Skate shoes have paddin on your inner foot so if your board hits your foot it won't hurt as much. Not to mention they have a certain chemical sprayed on the bottom so your shoes get a better hold on the griptape (thats why its called griptape).

And pro skate shoes have a little spot for you toes to go to prevent them from curling permanetley wich is very common in begginers.

i got route 66 shoes for 12 bucks, they look like dvs's so i figured they must be just as good for skating.

i guess iwas wrong haha.

 

Anything with a flat bottom (lol flat bottom) will work.

But if your going to be doing tricks other than kickflips and shit like that you'll have to get some good equiptment.

 

right now im getting my basics set back, you know kickflips 180s basic slides and grinds all that shit.

i was excited when i ollied outta the bowl at the skatepark. i was like damn aint felt like that in a while haha.

 

anyone longboard? Get high and cruise down a hill. Greatest feeling ever.
