Over the past 2 nights ive had very intense dreams about being a ghost or a spirit. Ill start with the one I can remember the best which was 2 nights ago now. The dream is a bit patchy but for me I can remember it fairly well. It was set somewhere between the 40's & 60's with a few technology flaws. I was a ghost of a young boy the dream had a sepia tinge to it. I remember driving to the airport in some sort of old school car with my family who were also ghosts. We drove over the Westgate Bridge (A bridge in Melbourne) which was not yet complete in my dream yet we seemed to drive over it perfectly fine flying over water as nothing was beneath us. Once we arrived at the airport I decided I wanted to start causing chaos so I began to light things on fire and watch people scream in horror as fire was erupting from nowhere things get a bit sketchy from here. I remember throwing balls at people that would explode into dust and I would fly through them revealing my ghostly self for a second as people would scream. I also remember stareing people in the eyes standing in front of them and they would get freaked out as they could sense something. Other than that all I remember is destroying some sort of electronical devices sort of shaped like black bricks as green and red goo would drip out of them. I think the dream ended with my family telling me off for causing chaos as we were standing in the airport car park. It was very strange as usually in my dream im my self but I was somebody else in this dream. Then last night I had a dream about being some sort of spirit I can’t remember any of the details at this moment in time but I know it freaked me out because I jolted from my sleep and had to have a cigarette to calm my self back down before I could sleep again. I find it weird that my dreams have taken on the same sort of ideas or themes 2 nights in a row. I also had another dream about picking magic mushrooms last night but they arent unusual around this time of year as the season gets closer. Anyways just thought id share these with everybody
I have a notepad by my bed and; in the few seconds prior to waking up, scrawl down my recollections to reflect upon when I fully awake. When I do so I can usually relate them to something I’ve recently read /seen or been thinking about. Sometimes the more surreal of them I deem to be a messages to be thought about with deeper consideration. How one reflects upon such is I feel will be down to an individuals’ perception. For me: I would say your ‘Ghost experience’, is a way of inner being, telling you that it may be a time to reflect. Chaos and /or destruction is usually a warning of a potential danger that you yourself may create. The fact that your second dream was such that distressed you into a frightened awakening would suggest that you are considering something that is perhaps somewhat unwise. My view is that dreams are experiences in alternate realities and that, generally speaking, they are NOT message-bearing instruments (despite what traditionalists believe). You can drive yourself crazy trying to interpret a dream that is, ultimately, simply an adventure in consciousness. Never be scared by a dream. You cannot be hurt by a dream experience unless you use it as an excuse to hurt yourself.
Yeah i agree. Frustrated perhaps? Feel like people aren't listening to you? Do you feel invisible or insignificant? ...as if the world could quite easily carry on without you? Need more excitement and action perhaps? Anyway ... naughty ghost!
I believe that all dreams are astral travels and as such physical laws don't always apply, I know I've had many dreams where I could phase through things, be invisible, fly, float, be transparent, etc... This reminds me of a few of my dreams in where I had encounters with organic technology which I too destroyed. What you describe is somewhat crude compared to the metamorphic devices I found, but being that your dream took place in the past it's no wonder. Though, I do wonder what there purpose was, any clue? How did you know to destroy them? In the dreams I had it was either us or them , some sort of hunter scout This is very similar to my beliefs on dreaming. ... yeah i remember you saying about that I understand dreams as a kind of parallel experience to this 'ordinary reality' ...we just experience each differently but they are connected and relate to eachother which is why dreams can tell us things about our 'ordinary' reality. I could anylise my ordinary waking reality and it's symbolism and flow the same way as my dreams ... it's not mutch different. I think dreams and the astral world are a world in which we notice things are more connected and unlimited, our spirit merges with energys, communicating, exploring and finding a path to take. In our waking ordinary reality we live out these same scenarios, but hey, everything seems different, ...solid, defined, separate and linear, but the same energys are at work in both.

I've had dreams similar to this one, although it wasn't so corny that I'd appear and yell 'BOO' in someone's face like I was a character in some old movie. xD! But seriously, I think it could be a way of venting aggressive feelings. Perhaps feeling ignored in life, bored. ORR! You could just be trying to have fun. When I have dreams like that, I'm usually scaring people off so I can show all those living people I'm more powerful! Yay for invisibleness!
It may be a warning dream. Ghosts and spirits are not good dream omens, imo. I find that it usually portends ill luck. Your dream says that you were chastised for causing chaos. Therefore it may be a warning to curb your reactive nature, that you be very mindful around others and not delve into their personal business least you cause mischief.
It's also my belief that the living can hurt you far more that people in your dreams, whether they be dead or alive.... Like you say dreams are sometimes the brain having fun with itself in a creative way If you look up the meaning around ghosts/spirits in dreams it is normally said to be not a spirit as such, more like something that needs to change within your or say in a relationship.
