Well obviously its not as good, its just a bunch of geeks programming a game for fun, not some corperation spending ass loads of money to carefully develop something you'll pay 59.99 for.

i bet someone could find out how to hook up a guitar hero controller to a computer and play. the only thing that im interested in is the song-editor though. that could be pretty awesome. i wish there was one in guitar hero

You can plug your guitar and play with it. It just takes time.

And there are song editors that you can use for guitar hero. It's used to put custom songs on it. I have tons of custom songs on my guitar hero 2 for ps2

I prefer gh3 for wii though.

Put the disk in your computer. Copy the files onto your computer.

Go to http://www.theguitarheroes.com Once your there all you have to do is look around. Theres hundreds of charts for songs (charts are the actual notes you will see on your tv).

Then just download the charts you want, then read the How To Put Custom Songs On Guitar Hero for the system you have. And then it's pretty easy to do from there. Well not eaasy but not hard, just a bit time consuming, but if you are good at following boring instructions for a really cool reward it's totally worth it.

And thats how you put custom songs on guitar hero. :)
