best xbox360 console ???

i wanna get an xbox360 so what is the best console i can get ???

and how can i make sure there is no red ring shit on it ???

Easy, don't buy used. I was the same way and skeptical about buying a 360 all together. I picked up the Halo edition just because at the time it was even newer than the Elite model. No problems since, works excellent. Many Halo edition users also have had no problems with it, so I say go for it..

360 is a GREAT system, and I like it over PS3

 

I bought a used one and it got RRoD, but Microsoft fixed it for free and gave me a month gold to xbox live.

I got it back in two weeks. It was sent to some place in Texas.

 

how about the arcade ?? some people told me its good

 

I would get the one with the hard drive included, if you want to play the arcade games or download new game content you will need it.

the arcade is good, you can get the original street fighter 2 off it, which I thought was awsome.
