Trent Reznor is a genius. Not to mention one of the sexiest men on the planet. Some of the music is a little on the dark side. But his lyrics have evolved since he's gotten older. He's been successfully doing what he's doing for 20 years so that says something. Sexy......................
True, men in 15 year old gothic girls clothing are truly the epitome of sexy. Cant argue with that! :cheers2:
NIN rocks, very heavily industrial. Haven't seen them live, I would bet that their live show isn't as good as a TOOL show, but I still would go in a heartbeat
My favorite is the part when he keep saying "help me!" It's fitting to his mental stablitity and fashion sense.
you made it to the words? in all fairness, that is probably the lamest beat I have ever heard in any song....ever. and he is "industrial rock"
haha XD The beat is mad whack, the singing is like a guy who has a weak voice trying to sound cool with a stuffy nose, especially when he screams. But the actual music of the song is pretty good, the background music, that is. If he didnt sing in that song, and toned down the techno beat, that song could be right up there with, say, More Than A Feeling, or even Freebird
well I didn't like it. and I hate shitty modern day singers. seriously. all these bands and none of them can sing, and all their live shows suck. pisses me off. if you can't sing, then dont sing. What amazes me is how many people are attracted to shitty music. It's a phenomenon really.
Agreed. And Western culture apparently has always fallen in love with shitty singers. That's why I like Lightning Bolt, and Hella when they were just guitar and drums.
i'm going to see nin in concert in august i stand by my original statement even though i didn't remember writing it i hate you all anyone that doesn't like nin can go choke on a dick
Well now that I know the tour is on, I cant wait. You will not hear "Puff the magic Dragon" or "God bless the USA". NIN is about anger, rage, revenge and primal sexuality. It is not meant to be nice. Most of you have not heard the vast majority of NIN's catalog on the radio. Most of NINs songs have very colorful language that is not played a lot commercially. I love NIN I have seen them multiple times. I will fly into the USA from Central America to catch this tour. It is that important to me. There is a very strong core following of NIN. I am not the only one who travels and follows the shows. The shows rock and are always events. If you have heard a few NIN songs and like them it would be well worth your time to go to a NIN concert. You will never forget it. Now i have to figure out which shows I am going to, in what states.
I like 'em-have all their stuff and saw 'em in Portland.I'm not a lyric man but the music arouses the wild man in me!And I'm OLD.I like Ministry too--saw their last tour in Portland also.Don't like em??You got a head like a hole.
