Old Crone could you give me a reading too?

Your question made me smile. I was told a few weeks back I was the most unreadable person they had ever meant. When asked why the answer was, "Because you hide nothing, and we fear the vulnerability, and insight we would have to have in order to read you."

So I smiled then, as I do now.

Seems like 30 years ago a reader said she had to read me because she was so drawn to my energy. I sat down, she looked at me, burst into tears, and said she felt broken by my eyes. No she too did not read me. So no, I do not look for, or ask for readings. In the classes I teach, I tell people that as they see the depth within their own hearts, and lives they empower their own readings by learning how to be true to who they are, and do not need to look out side them for the truths they already hold onto within them. I believe that. We should not be so quick to give our personal power away to another because in an honest reading the covering we hide behind is stripped away.

I come from a place of love, and respect knowing the doors each one opens for me during a reading will change them forever. Some readers do not. With much graditude I am humbled at this trust offered. But here is the catch. I also feel I am part of the problem as each turns to me, and not within to find their own truths inside them.

I would rather teach, and show people how to open their own abilities to better walk their life path, and Spirit wholeness within them, then to have to reach out side for the answers. We are so co-dependent we forget what living in full awareness, and wonder is. I ask myself with each reading, when the blindfolds come off have I done a dis-service to the Spirit within? So far I do not have an answer.

Out of the many readings I have done here only two have offered to pass on a gift to another in thanks. You know the law of compensation. This is part of the asking, and recieving. One made a donation to their local food bank. I just do not want to be the entertainment factor here. This is a way of life for me. As we open to the depths of wholeness, and love within us, we reach beyond our selves, and stop leaning, but stand, and dance as one toward one goal, which for me is to face our own wholeness as Spirit having a human experience, and not humans trying to be Spirit.

I am sorry for this explosion of thoughts. You did not ask for all this. I just needed to say these things. There is a movie out called Pay It Forward, and What the Bleep do We know. Both worth watching

Loves embrace circles us all, may we not hold on with needs, but grow from this connection we all share. May we no longer fear, but love from a place of wholeness as we create our own affirmations, and truths we speak to our own hearts within. Loving me was always loving you, and loving you was always loving me. The depth we go here in Spirit is up to the choices we make within our own hearts, souls, and life path. Yes, one can change the world without by changing the world within.

You are dead on, I am going through some rough times right now, and trying to find myself. Interesting that you said I died in a car accident, I would have died in another on about 13 years ago, if it wasn't for my grandmothers warning, she sensed that I was going to be in a car accident, right after I left her house, for some reason she told me to sit in the back of the car, which I did, and walked away without a scratch. The one thing that bothers me right now, is this girl I met, everything was going great between us, then something happened, and she seemed to distance herself from me, and not care as much as she used to. Don't know if she would get back into my life, I would like for her to.

 

Old_Crone - listening is something I do well. Even those recent words carry a message, if one has eyes to see and ears to hear.

I put a thread up about starting a meditation group here. maybe we could all give together? give toward the goal of simple living for all. I know a lot of people here are dealing with, myself included, the mass fears around money and lack. There's a lot of disconnect. Maybe we could send out a soft web of connection. We're spread out all over the globe so why not be points of light for just a moment. for each moment is an eternity in itself. we give forever with each gift. just a thought. another dance in another field but you're all welcome.

I want to add something to this, not at all in argument with what you stated here but as another perspective. Many people do turn to another for their answers, while seeing them AS another. But I also see this. There is no "other". And as for "me" *smile* I turn to "you" as myself, knowing it is Self speaking to Self. Just as "you" are part of the problem, it is the ultimate "I" appearing as you and me and he and she, all joined together in the apparent problem of forgetfulness. Anyway... I know "you" know all this. And I'm happy to say, so do "I".

Yes I enjoy the spirit of giving very much. Meditation is always nice, although I consider every moment an opportunity to be present, which is the best meditation there is. However coming together for presence/meditation can be very powerful and healing and an opportunity to raise the energy frequency for all involved, so count me in.

Also I want to add that if anyone desires help with a particular issue or challenge, I would be happy to lend some assistance. I do distance healing with Reiki and also another energy healing technique that helps with physical/mental/emotional/spiritual issues, which can be done by phone or Skype, or possibly as a surrogate techinque.

Old Crone, I don't know much about this forum, psychics, paranormal supernatural instances, or really any of the unknown. Right now I'm feeling very confused about myself as a person and my beliefs in the afterlife. Could you please do a reading for me so that I might have a little guidance?

 

Old Crone, I realize you get many requests for readings but I am so upset about my current situation. My siblings treat me badly and I have a lot of medical problems. I need a hip replacement and at my young age it seems so hard to do that. On top of that I fight with my parents I live with constantly. I take one college class online and thats it. I should be in my second year of college by now. I just need to get some guidance on how to straighten my life out. I hope you can take the time to give me a reading.
