Break-ups are hard, and it will take awhile to get over. My best friend is pretty much in the same boat as her, so I'm helping her deal with all this shit, too. Give it some time, and you will be fine.. you're 16, you're young, you will have plenty of time to recover from this and find another guy. The same thing happened to me like 2 years ago, i thought it was the end of the world and i felt very bad. This is not easy, but this happened for a reason and you should be glad it did. He probably isn't the right person for you and now you're free to look for the ONE. You're still young... many people reach a certain age without finding the right person.. Forget about that asshole and move on. I'm sure he already did. Your life is precious, don't waste it for anyone.
