Tonight, I hung out with a friend of mine from California. She met up with a friend of ours on Monday as well as my girlfriend, Laura (I was not aware), and they went and saw a movie, and afterwards hung out around town. My friend has always been there for me, and has never told me a lie so far as I can tell.

She told me that my girlfriend and our other friend were all over each other. Hold hands, hugging, etc. I confronted Laura about this. She told me that she was trying to get him to open his shell so he would be less of a downer. She said she acted on spur of the moment.

I know that this friend has had feelings for Laura in the past. I know that those feelings have probably come back up, especially with his last break up ending fairly messy, and Laura being there as a shoulder to cry on.

What I want to know is if my feelings of jealousy and betrayal are justified. My opinion is I don't care if the guy is ruining a good day, DON'T go showing him the affection that he so wants from you, and then saying it was an impulse, when you know damn well where his feelings lie.

Right now, I am fairly numb, but still fairly pissed. I don't know what to do as this is the first time I have felt jealousy in a relationship.

Any advice would be helpful, and I thank you in advance. I don't take your words to heart either, so if you disagree with me, speak up, and let me know your reasoning. I just want to see if I am the only one that feels what I am feeling is right.
