this is pretty crazy and exciting!!! does it surprise you? obviously we can't be the only planet with some sort of life forms.. I'm not saying "aliens".. but single cell organisms and all that scientific mumble jumble.... I'm kinda excited by the find myself...

i think life used to be on mars, and i mean like humanic life forms, cuz they have a grand canyon and they need water for that to happend but it became baron and everything died out. so the same will hapen to earth

its almost as if mars is at its either very beginning stages of life, kind of like when earth first started forming single cell organisms, or an incredibly long time after life thrived there.

this life shit probably goes in cycles where we die off then reevolve or whatever so earth and mars are maybe just at different stages

Or both seeing as the life forms could be adapting to the barrenness and so are starting life anew a long time after the death of the others.

yo what if it is the ati the first stages of life after another stage of life. like there was an enviorment like earth and it died out from something, and now it is rebuilding its ecosystem, and earth does the same thing, we already know of one stage of life n earth(the dinosaurs) what if there were many more.

ice is a great sign. of course the ultimate goal is whether life can be supported. whether we can move there and destroy a new planet. if only we could ship some of our atmosphere and CO2 to mars.

in the end, while we stay in our solar system our descendants are doomed to sun explosion. the future is in space stations and mobile colonies.everybody sit down with a piece of paper and draw a a space station! its so much fun. like a potential real life sim city.

we have enough shit to fix here before we branch out.

ice is good but you kinda need liquid water for life to develop. one of saturns many moons has a ice surface about 100miles thick, as the moon orbits saturn it warps and that warping heats the core of the moon and there is a very good possibility that there is a liquid layer of water and if that liquid layer of water exists (likely) there is a very good chance of life within our solar system.

using simple probability and seeing how the universe is just so unthinkably huge there is life forms that exist somewere in the universe that speaks english. how sweet is that.

Ice on Mars can swing views back to science to allow for growing of organs, greenhouse effect, alternatives to oil, etc.

Instead of just being dismissed as a group of non religous smart guys who hate Jesus and burn babies.

cool but I doubt anything will really come of it.

NASA is a waste of money.

I think we should commercialize space. Then we would actually get somewhere. Instead of one lumbering giant organization dicking around with our trillions of tax dollars.
