I just bought a liquid filled pipe... never had, nor used, one before.

Anything good or bad about them I should know? :D

And I heard putting it in the freezer makes it hit better... true?

I had one once, and it smoked nice. I always put mine in the fridge though, you don't want to "freeze" it persay....it'll bust.
You just want it to be able to cool the smoke down.
    Enjoy!

is it the kind that filters the hits or just liquid in between glass?

  4. They are sick. If it's the liquid filled pyrex ones you don't even need to put it in the freezer as the liquid inside holds a perfect temperature always. You shouldn't freeze though, the fridge will do it justice. Freezing the pyrex than adding a flame and high heat can cause damage.

    Enjoy it :D

i think thats called a bubbler, if you put it in the freezer you can take bigger hits off of it because the liquid cools the smoke.its like a mini bong

  8. Nah, It's just a glass pipe filled with colorful liquid to cool the smoke. The liquid at room tempature is enough to keep the smoke much cooler than that of a regular pipe.

Looks something like this I believe, this is a few of many styles:

even bong bowls (which I don't think make a difference)

lol how stoned are some of you guys hahahaha.

The water is always there, and the water does not make any contact with the smoke at all. Its sealed within the glass and its pretty cool to look at, and it will help cool the smoke down. just stick it in the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes to get the water cool (but not to cold as to heat shock..remember).

Its a good thing to use, I use to have one myself.

I got a bong bowl mostly for the looks. Never tried freezing it. It has like white powder in it that glows in the dark but unless you shake it around it collects at the bottom.

Yeah, this is liquid between the glass. There's a cork/plug, so I imagine liquid could be changed. I like the way mine is though. It's like a shimmery pearl white cloud. :)

Dude, that is one nice looking pipe. I hope it smokes well. I have one of those liquid filled ones, it is more like a bat style with a ball on the end. It is filled with yellow liquid. I call it the piss tester.

From my personal experience, unless you are using the amounts of water found in a bong-type device, a little bit of water will do -absolutely nothing- about the temperature or harshness of smoke (or very little). What they still do awesomely, no matter how much water you use, is filter out tar. I believe ~94% of tar remains in the water if you are using the water as a filter. That's pretty friggin good, it almost completely negates the whole unhealthy smoking thing!
