Money Orders

Im considering purchasing some 2c-i and would like to pay with a money order. When you purchase a money order do you have to show any sort of ID or put down info like name, address etc.

no you dont need to prove who you are, only the receiver has to prove who they are

same deal goes for WU

 

i suggest NOT using best wetern or somethin like that. Anyone can go pick it up they only ask for id if its more than 1000 gettn picked up...
at least here in Colorado

 

best western is a hotel chain..

im sure the person has to know the MTCN at the very least to pick up the money

 

No you can get them at 7-11, grocery stores, the post office. Should be about $1.09 each. $500 max. Don't go to a bank to get one.

yeah you need the mtcn and sender info, you almost always need identification aswell.

 

You don't need anything to get a money order. A 5 year old with no ID can get one. Western Union is a different story.

 

The place where i send my WU payments has never ID'd me, and Ive even used mulitple names with shitty signitures to the same employees

 

I haven't used WU in a while, but that's how I remember it too. You only need ID to receive.
